Conflicts, external and internal, have the power to shape work environments when not addressed appropriately. Knowing how to identify, approach, and solve conflicts will enable you to find the best course of action in building productive relationships and teams. In this course you will experience how your conflict style affects the way you interact and perform when conflicting viewpoints, attitudes, and goals emerge. You will learn to ‘tune in’ to potential internal conflicts that keep you from adequately approaching external conflicts. During role-playing sessions your will learn and practice your understanding of conflict styles, telling signs, and techniques and methods for resolution — so that you can stay connected with your needs and values while treating the other as an equal.

In this course you will learn how to resolve conflicts and build mutual understandings that last. By addressing any potential internal conflicts, you will strengthen your ability to solve external conflicts in a way that is sustainable and respectful to all sides involved. Your work and personal life will benefit significantly as you discover effective ways to maintain and nurture healthy relationships.
