The shift in today’s leadership style is a result of what is needed from companies to be competitive and relevant, while making way to a more collaborative approach to growth. The market is demanding innovation at such a rapid rate that numerous creative ideas are needed in order to compete. These ideas cannot come only from the leader — they must come from everyone involved. The task for managers is to shift from telling their people what to do, to empowering them to come up with their best ideas.

How do you get to a place where people feel ready, willing and able to move forward? Feel inclined to try new things, rather than looking for approval or the ‘right’ way to do things? We define empowerment as active participation, involvement, accountability, encouragement, setting boundaries and expectations, as well as listening to and acknowledging people’s ideas. In this training, we clarify how to empower your people to be their best, to give them space and equip them with the right skills to get important work done and solve the most pressing challenges.

  • Identify how to delegate to develop capabilities and responsibilities in others
